The Ashtabula County Engineer’s Office and the Ashtabula County Highway Department is located at 186 East Satin Street in Jefferson, Ohio.  The Ashtabula County Engineer maintains office hours from 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.  The County Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and repair 354 miles of county roads and 895 county bridges & culverts.  The Engineer’s staff is always available to address public concerns regarding the county’s roads and bridges.   You may reach the office by calling 440-576-3707.

 The Highway Department hours are 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.  Issues regarding the maintenance of county roads and bridges may be directed to the Highway Maintenance Superintendent.  You can reach the Highway Department at 440-576-2816.
